Purple B2B brings home bronze!
Purple B2B has won bronze at the B2B Marketing Awards 2021, with their ‘Continuous flow for life’ product launch campaign for Resideo.
We are delighted to share that the Purple B2B team have won bronze in the ‘Best SME-targeted campaign category at the B2B Marketing Awards 2021, for our work on the ‘Continuous flow for life’ campaign with Resideo.
Attending the awards ceremony in person on Wednesday 24th November at the Old Billingsgate in London, a historical Victorian building originally home to the Billingsgate Fish Market, the Purple team and our client, Resideo, joined other attendees as they were treated to a lavish drinks reception, followed by a 3-course meal and a live comedy show from stand-up comedian Jen Brister.
With 30 categories to go through, ours was number 15 and the wait kept the team on their toes. ‘I can’t lie – when it eventually came up, I did feel a little sick!’ our Associate Account Director Kelly Wright admits.
The win was well-deserved. Resideo came to Purple in September 2020 with a clear goal: disrupt the European heating valve market. The launch of their Thera 6 and V200SX valves was pivotal to this. The future prosperity of their Czech factory, and its people, were also on the line.
To get to know the people behind the products, our team visited the factory. The workers’ energy and passion quickly turned into a personal quest to make a real difference. But to truly start a revolution, we needed to think differently. That’s when the ‘Continuous flow for life’ concept was born, introducing the simple, yet never-seen-before, “guaranteed for life” proposition, which created a clear point of difference.
Despite the challenges set by COVID-19, we achieved 86% of the ambitious month 1 sales target, and across Western Europe, 3-month average sales went up to 141% of the trimester sales target.
And this helped lead to a successful awards night! Kelly says: “It was lovely to see people glammed up and enjoying themselves – you could almost forget what’s been happening for the past 2 years. We all celebrated in style after the ceremony, with a live band. The result was sore heads and sore feet the next morning!”
